yes....things were a lot less expensive then.
Solveig- My first car was a 1966 Beetle. I remember well driving it with my down jacket in the winter, using my mittens to defrost the window, and having to pull off the freeway during a DC thunderstorm. The heat worked great in the summer though :-)
Do I ever remember riding in that car all the way to Port Clyde...arriving what seemed to in the middle of the night... and then SLEEPING in it! And...well, I won't say any more here.
