Peter's near birthing chair.........

Peter's mother loved to tell the story about how Peter was almost born in an easy chair. It seems that Jack and Helen were at a gathering of their friends. Helen, who was quite pregnant with Peter, spent most of the night in this particular chair. An MD friend of theirs offered to deliver Peter right then and there, but Helen declined. Peter WAS born just a few hours later. The next generation of this family who owned the chair live in that house now. Peter and I were invited there for dinner, and Peter finally got to sit in this infamous easy chair. Peter said there was definitely something quite familiar about it........a little déja vu for Peter??
